 Evaluation is the excavation of a sample area of a site (normally between 2 and 4 percent) to assess the archaeological potential of the land. Marches Archaeology has
carried out evaluations throughout the West Midlands as
well as in Wales contributing to decisions for the
further management of the archaeological resource, within
the requirements of a proposed development scheme. |
